At Orienthelfer e.V., we understand safeguarding to mean all measures that contribute to protection from violence and a safe living environment. The protection and empowerment of vulnerable people is particularly important to us.
Anyone can be vulnerable in certain situations. Some groups are particularly affected by violence: children, women, people with physical or mental disabilities, members of the LGBTIQA community or minorities.
Orienthelfer e.V. works closely with its local implementing partners, and we have established preventive measures in our Safeguarding Policy to prevent violence.
By signing this Safeguarding Policy, the Orienthelfer e.V. team and its local implementing partners commit to behaviours that respect boundaries and prevent violence. Experiences, observations and questions about violence and experiences of violence can be addressed and reported confidentially and anonymously in various ways, including via this form.
