After years of conflict, displacement, and disrupted education, this project is creating new opportunities for children and young people in Aleppo, Syria.
Together with our local partner Orange, we are providing 5,562 conflict-affected, displaced, and returning children and adolescents with access to safe, high-quality education from July to December 2026. To achieve this, we are strengthening ten schools by improving infrastructure and safety standards, supporting children with learning gaps through catch-up and non-formal education programmes, encouraging families to enrol their children in school, and providing pedagogical and psychosocial training for 228 teachers.
In total, 6,235 people will benefit from the project, which improves access to education, reduces school dropouts, and gives children and young people renewed hope for a self-determined future.
